Looking at this, I realized that in the West, it feels like it's more open to questions directed to life tools - how to find a mentor, how to travel with friends, how to stay limber... the kind of stuff listed in the planner.
In Korea, it seems like those kind of talks are more invisible. Maybe there are some magazine/news articles or postst on Naver Jishikin(지식인), a website like Quora. I think these challenges in life need to be talked more openly. It might be the ones that you go, "That's on me," and be silent to others about hardest problems you are going through.
I think a lot of older generations had to go through things like this. Just looking at my family it sounds true.
I wish I could talk more openly about things like this - problems that you and I go through but rarely talked about.
I also want to ask myself, am I talking with myself well? How deep is my relationship with myself...?
Do I know me? Well enough to understand others, too?
I hope I could answer these questions better at the end of the year.
