Using Podcasts to Study English
I'm an avid podcast listener.
At the weekly English study group, I've uploaded a few clips of podcasts that I listen to on the chatroom.
I haven't asked the reaction to it, now that I'm thinking. I should ask the members.
It feels like I'm throwing stuff in the air sometimes(the emoji below shows my heart that goes into it quite accurately), but I hope they get a chance to listen to the native speakers.
And just get to know how far they could go. How there are multiple ways - in terms of speed, accents, styles, words - English is spoken.
I looked for the ways to bring the podcast to the study group. I found that an hour-long full episode is too much for them.
So I found a way to download the mp3, then I edited it using Premiere Pro.
Then I wanted transcripts for the podcast too, so I searched a bit and found another easy way to download episodes!
How to Download Podcasts as MP3 (Podcast to MP3) - Two ways
1. Use Page Source on Google Chrome browser (my first way of downloading)
Out of many ways to download podcast audio, this has been most helpful, but it's not easy to find the exact .mp3 link I want from the page source(there are like 80 of em on one page source).

Found a website that gives podcast transcript. It has podcast audio you can play at the bottom. If you click three dots on the right, you will see the download button.
Its timeline and transcripts are not perfect(especially timeline is far off), but it's better than nothing.
3. Cut Out and Get a Clip Directly from the Podcast from listennotes.com
Listennotes gives an option to clip out the section you want from the podcast. - Amazing, this is what I want!

Once you clip out, you can downloade it - and it's fast.
I'm not using the first way anymore after I found other ways to download pocasts.
I'll see if I could find better transcript/podcast download website!
