I've subscribed some YouTube channels that give out ESL lessons.

I check them out time to time, and sometimes like to check their email newsletters, too.

Here are three YouTube channels that I check often to help myself plan out next lessons for the English conversation group I run. I suggest all of them for people who already speak advanced English

1. Interactive English

Interactive English

Do you want to improve your English skills? Well you've come to the right place.

www.youtube.com

This channel is very neatly organized, and gives out great examples and vocabularies for advanced learners. I use it often for my English conversation group. It seems to best suit my group because most members have received college-level English education. The lessons are interesting, really fun to listen to, and right on point to be used in a daily life.

Additionally, if you subscribe to their emails, which they promote in every video description, you can get access to lesson notes free. They become great hand-outs/presentations for the members in my English group :)

Here is one video I recently used: Interactive English: Common Writing Mistakes

The thing is that... I don't know the channel oweners' names yet lol. They are probably written in some of the past newsletters. But I respect their genuine interest in creating and sharing English lessons for all.

2. Speak English With Vanessa

Venessa is a charming person full of bright, happy energy who shares her honest experience of her journey to help people speak English fluently. She's had her past of being totally lost in a foreign country due to language, and has become fluent after many people's help.

I think Venessa's videos are super helpful if you are serious in exposing yourself to more English and challenging yourself to learn expressions like taking a course. She uploads free videos and notes, but you can also join her lessons that she offers.

I've used her videos and lesson notes to share with English group members before, when the participating members had learning energy of academical-passion, than of playful, happy-go-merry kind of passion, if you know what I mean. :)

3. Accurate English

AccurateEnglish

I specialize in training corporate professionals and foreign-born actors in Hollywood. For the past 20 years I have been director of Accurate English, an accent reduction training company in Los Angeles. Before that I was an English professor at Santa Moni

This channel's owner Lisa Mojsin has over 25 years of experience teaching pronunciation and advanced English. Her videos are at the cutting edge of advanced English fluency for professionals.

She reads articles from newspapers or magazines like the New York Times or The Economy and let us follow along her guide to advanced vocabularies and expressions.

She records conversations with people and breaks it down to sections that non-native speakers can learn new phrases.

She can see through how non-native advanced English speaker speaks well, but are missing the last gist of it. And that's where she helps them to raise their speaking to a native level with her wise advice and insights :)

Like the screenshot example below:

This screenshot is from the video of her conversation with a waitress in a popular restaurant in L.A.: https://youtu.be/jaZBO_qQkbw

I always find new things to learn in her videos.

And that's it, the three channels I like to watch for English learning. I am so thankful for each of them :)

They make my life a whole lot easier as the English group leader, and help me dive deeper and wider into the world of language.

I hope this helps you light your journey on the way to speak like a native.

Or just make you more motivated to dig in whatever passion you have.

See you next time :)
